The thermoforming machines mod. PROGRESS, made of stainless steel, are designed to satisfy any market requirement. The use of stainless steel and the great care and attention paid to every individual component, make this machine highly resistant to aggressive environments and corrosive products, allowing an easy and thorough cleaning. The structure is made up of different modules - forming, loading, sealing, cutting, unloading - for maximum flexibility and easy set up of different accessories, like gaz injection or automatic loading systems (modules mm 1000 - 1500 - 2000). All the functions of the machines such as forming time, vacuum level, temperature, pressure, mould opening, chain speed, can be programmed through the control panel which can memorise 99 programs. The data can be accessed only using passwords for absolute safety. In order to extend the shelf - life of food-bakery products, a patented option is also available. The PROGRESS is the results of a long experience both in manufacturing and developing a wide range of applications.

• Drive control: with brushless motor for high precison and easy step change.
• Capacity of reels: reels up to diameter of 350 mm for upper film and diameter 400 mm for lower film with core ø of 3” and 6” (with adaptor). Jumbo for reeli up to ø mm 1000.
• Forming: flexible films can be formed using compressed air or vacuum. Rigid films usually need one or more preheating stations, mechanical plugs and compressed air, to grant optimum tray quality. Changing of the internal inserts of the main die to obtain different tray sizes is extremely simple.
• Loading: it can be manual or automatic depending on the products and the production required.
• Loading area: modular to satisfy any production need.
• Sealing: hot sealing plate can be either perimetric or total, with the following options: vacuum and sealing / vacuum, injection of inert gas, sealing / normal sealing. The sealing plate can be designed for easy - opening of the tray.
• Longitudinal cutting: with rotating blade for flexible and rigid films.
with pneumatic pressure and / or scissor type for rigid films.
• Transversal cutting: knives with blades for flexible films. Saw cutting system for easy opening. Shear cutting with punching tools for rigid films. Shear cutting with removal m / f with 3 mm or more.
• Cutting in shape: for specific products the cutting can be made to follow the product shape either with flexible or rigid film. A transport belt can be used to evacuate the product along the machine or sideways.
• Trim removal: off - cuts are removed by suction or, where necessary, can be wound on to a special spool or grinded.
• Hygienic standards: a careful design ensures a simple and thorough cleaning.
• Vacuum: a vacuum pump up to 300 cub.meter / hour can be incorporated. Solutions using vacuum accelerator or centralised system can also be used.
• Guards: particular attention has been paid to prevent access to dangerous points in the machine. A series of cut - off switches stop the machine immediately if any guard is even partly removed.
• Controls: Progress is equipped with plc and programming keyboard. Up to 99 programs can be stored, thus defining all parameters of the technological cycle (i.e. times, temperatures, vacuum level required for packages, drive pitch, chain speed and input of the various machine
functions). An on - line help to the different programming phases is available. Self testing allows the user to immediately identify the cause of a machine stop or problem, thus promptly taking corrective actions to reset the production cycle. Chains can be manually controlled for an easier film introduction.
• Web lower film: the Progress can be supplied with film width from 321 to 621 mm.
• Optionals: the machine may include the following accessories: shrinking system / transfer printer / stamp printer / robot with labelling and printing unit for the application of labels on the lower part of the package directly in line / communication with other units in the production line / gas injection / gas mixer / labelling machine for upper film / and filling units / remote assistance by modem connection / touch screen.
